Five Easy DIY Juices to Make You #HealthGoals

For you juice-loving Change Makers out there, we have a treat (or five) for you. Juicing, as long as you keep the fruit whole by blending and not pressing it) is an easy way to get your daily serving of fruits and vegetables without the meal prep. Whip out that blender and try one of these recipes today.

For each of the following recipes, add the listed ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend on “high”. Start with approximately 2 cups of ice/water and add more liquid if needed to reach desired consistency. Place juices in an airtight container and keep refrigerated for up to 5 days. Makes 2-4 servings.

ABC

    • 1 large green apple (remove core)
    • 1 small beet
    • 2 small carrots
    • 2 cups ice/water
  • * optional : ½ tbsp cubed fresh ginger
Lean and Green

  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 small bunch of parsley
  • 1 green apple (remove core)
  • 1 cup spinach
  • ½ cup sliced cucumber
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 cups ice/water
Kale Punch

  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 cup green grapes
  • ½ cup sliced cucumber
  • 2 cups ice/water
  • *optional: dash of cayenne pepper
Orange Cold Buster

  • 1 whole orange (peeled)
  • 2 small carrots
  • ½ tbsp cubed fresh ginger
  • ½ cup diced pineapple
  • 2 cups ice/water
Turmeric Tonic

  • 1 medium grapefruit (peeled)
  • ½ cup diced pineapple
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Dash of salt
  • 2 cups ice/water
